“what is not shown 2.99999” is a collection of sketches made during the process of creating “subtraction in spiral”. These tracks were written toward the theme of “the subtractive generation of this reality,” some carrying the recognition and landscape of memories of “KOKEI NO AWAI”, others reaching toward the more abstract territory of “subtraction in spiral”. They are rough and unresolved.

what is not shown 2.99999 は、「subtraction in spiral」の制作過程で書かれたスケッチ集です。これらのトラックはアルバムの「この現実の減算的生成」というテーマに向けて書かれており、「光景のあわい」のような認識と記憶の景色を引き継ぐものと、「subtraction in spiral」のより抽象的な領域へ向かうものが混在しています。アルバムの完成度や流れのためにリリースからは外したものの、お気に入りの、粗く、未解決のままの曲たちです。

「what is not shown」では不在や喪失という体験を、「what is not shown 2」では体験の中を漂う気配をテーマに制作しました。
感じたことの「名詞」だけを描いたのが前者作品で、「動詞」だけを描いたのが後者作品、というわたしなりのコンセプトもありました。
それらを繋ぎなおした音楽を作れないかと考えていた時、LIGHT COURTから2作品のリリースとHKCRのお誘いを頂きました。
今回オンエアされる60分のロングミックス”transitions”は、上記2作品を含む完全新曲のみで構成しています。「名詞」と「動詞」に分解された体験が、「文章」となって現れる過程を共にお楽しみ頂ければ幸いです。

『raise』以降の作品に向けた習作です。
次作のリリースは先になる予感があったため、小さな成果を発表する場所としてsoundcloudを動かすことにしました。
わたしは長らく「液状のイメージ」に執着していることに気が付き、そこから「流動体」というキーワードも立ち上がりました。
この楽曲では「液状化と混濁」をモチーフに、金属と皮膚、機械と内臓、固体と液体といった一見背反するものの同化と異化を試みています。

This is a study for the work after “raise”.
Since I had a feeling that the release of the next work would be some time in the future, I decided to use soundcloud as a place to present small results.
I realized that I have been obsessed with “liquid images” for a long time, and the theme of “fluidity” emerged from this obsession.
In this piece, I attempt to assimilate and dissimilate seemingly opposing things such as metal and skin, machines and internal organs, and solids and liquids, using “liquefaction and muddiness” as a motif.
